According to media reports, the 2023 iPhone was released on September 12, while the 2021 model was unveiled on September 14. Both dates followed the eighth day after Labor Day in the United States. This year, Labor Day falls on September 2, suggesting that the iPhone 16 might be released on Tuesday, September 10.
Following Apple’s usual practice, the new models are expected to be available for pre-order on that Friday, September 13, with the earliest shipping date being September 20. The excitement is palpable!
This year’s iPhone 16 series will once again feature four models: the standard version, Plus version, Pro version, and Pro Max version, catering to a variety of consumer needs. In terms of specifications, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will boast a 6.9-inch display. This upgrade in the Pro series’ screens is likely related to the addition of a 5x periscope telephoto lens, expected to be included in both Pro models.
As for the standard and Plus versions, the iPhone 16 will feature a 6.1-inch screen, and the iPhone 16 Plus will have a 6.7-inch screen, both with a 60Hz refresh rate. Nostalgically, the dual-camera design for these models will return to a vertical alignment, reminiscent of the iPhone X. This design adjustment aims to enable the iPhone 16 to record spatial videos, seamlessly integrating with Apple’s Vision Pro.
Battery-wise, the iPhone 16 will be equipped with a 3561mAh battery, the 16 Plus with a 4006mAh battery, the 16 Pro with a 3355mAh battery, and the 16 Pro Max with a 676mAh battery, ensuring ample power for everyday use.
